A successful production relies on volunteers with diverse skills to collaboratively create a cohesive and engaging experience. No experience? No problem! Committee Volunteers
If you're looking for a long-term volunteer arrangement with us, consider joining one of our committees!
Development - Builds the financial resources needed to sustain and strengthen Prairie Players through fundraising, sponsorships, grants, and relationships with donors and community partners.
Facilities & Operations - Maintains a safe, secure, functional, and welcoming theatre facility while protecting and responsibly managing Prairie Players’ physical resources.
Finance - Safeguards the financial health and integrity of Prairie Players through sound financial oversight, accurate reporting, and responsible management of revenue and expenses.
Governance - Oversees the organization's compliance with its bylaws and policies, recruits and develops board members, and ensures effective leadership succession.
Marketing - Promotes Prairie Players and its productions, programs, and events while maintaining a consistent, professional, and recognizable public presence throughout the community.
Production Planning - Guides Prairie Players’ artistic and production planning to ensure a balanced, sustainable season that serves our audience, supports our volunteers, and makes effective use of our theatre and resources.
Properties - Cares for and maximizes the usefulness of Prairie Players’ collection of costumes, props, makeup, set pieces, and related theatrical resources while ensuring those assets remain organized, accessible, and aligned with the our mission.
Volunteers & Membership - Builds and sustains Prairie Players’ volunteer community by welcoming new participants, supporting existing volunteers, and creating meaningful opportunities for people to become involved.
