It’s been quite a year at Prairie Players—and we’d love to gather with you to look back at where we’ve been, celebrate what we’ve accomplished together, and look ahead to what’s next!
Please join us for the Prairie Players Civic Theatre Annual Meeting on Saturday, August 22 at Prairie Players Civic Theatre, 160 S. Seminary Street, Galesburg. We'll gather at 9:30 AM to check in and enjoy coffee and pastries in the lobby, followed by the annual meeting at 10 AM in the theatre.
Our annual meeting is more than a business meeting. It’s an opportunity for members to hear what’s happening throughout the organization, learn about plans for the coming year, and have a voice in Prairie Players’ future. We’ll:
All members should have received an email on August 9 with the full agenda, minutes from last year’s meeting, and biographies of this year’s nominees.
Any volunteer (over the age of 18) that has completed 10 hours of service or donated at least $10 between July 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026 is a voting member of Prairie Players Civic Theatre. If you have questions about membership, please call 309-343-7728 or email [email protected].
Whether you’ve been involved with Prairie Players for decades or are newer to the organization, we hope you’ll join us. Prairie Players belongs to all of us, and your participation helps shape where we go next.

- Elect new members to our Board of Directors and Governance Committee
- Hear updates from our committees and learn about our 2026-27 budget
- Talk about plans and opportunities for the coming season
