Prairie Players Offers Intro to Improv Class
Prairie Players Civic Theatre invites you to beat the winter doldrums with laughter, creativity, and connection at an 8-week Intro to Improv class beginning Tuesday, January 6.
Designed for beginners and anyone looking to have fun, the class focuses on playful games, spontaneity, and teamwork—no theatre experience required. Participants will meet every Tuesday from January 6 through February 24, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM, at Prairie Players Civic Theatre, 160 S. Seminary Street in Galesburg. The cost for the full eight-session course is $100.
The class will be taught by Jill Bradford, who brings experience and enthusiasm by creating a supportive, low-pressure environment where participants of all backgrounds can feel comfortable trying something new.
The session will culminate in a public Improv Showcase on Saturday, February 28, at 7:30 PM, giving participants the chance to share what they’ve learned in a fun, informal performance open to the community.
