Until we can safely gather again...
While earlier decisions to postpone performances were necessary for the health of our community, they came at a cost. We depend on productions to help us pay the bills. During the course of the pandemic, we have postponed our indoor spring and summer productions and drastically reduced capacity for what programming we have been able to host. All this causing a large reduction in income.
Thus far we have been able survive this challenge with the help of grants, a mortgage deferral, and individual donations. However, grant opportunities are limited and as generous as our bank has been, our deferral cannot continue. We need help from you. How can you help? By buying a ticket to Prairie Players Pandemic Survival. What does this mean? Donate at least $15, the cost of a ticket, to Prairie Players. Our goal is to "sell out" - before the pandemic, a sold out performance for Prairie Players would mean $8640 in revenue - that's 576 $15 tickets - and this revenue will help ensure Prairie Players will be here to entertain you when we can safely gather again. |
