Dan Burke & Harry Tonchev Quartet
Saxophonist Dan Burke first showed an interest in the instrument at the age of twelve. Growing up in the western Chicago suburbs, Dan was exposed to a wide variety of music from Irish songs of freedom to rock and blues, but it wasn’t until he heard the elating sounds of jazz did he want to pursue a life in music. While in high school Dan won various awards and recognition playing in various jazz and classical honor groups including the Honor Band of America and the Youth Jazz Ensemble of DuPage. [more]

Derel Monteith Trio
Derel Monteith is a pianist, keyboardist, and composer based in Illinois. After focusing on classical piano during his childhood in North Carolina, Derel developed an affinity for improvised music and earned a degree in jazz studies from the University of Miami. Among others, he has performed with Nnenna Freelon, Vanessa Rubin, Frank Foster, and the Artie Shaw Orchestra, and studied with the Grammy-winning composer Maria Schneider. In 2015, Derel formed the Derel Monteith Trio, which focuses on his original compositions and instrumental covers of rock songs. His other primary outlet is fully improvised solo piano. Nathan Taylor Band
Nathan Taylor & Friends explode with rich sound and purely blended talent. This talent is bathed in a wide range of vintage American blues & roots music, born of the soul of the heartland and the most fortunate front porches of Canton, Illinois.
From classic roots songs and blues of the delta to early New Orleans jazz and Nathan Taylor originals, their audiences dance to soulful spins on the old styles mixed with new music as they are transported to simpler times, past and present.
Their music has been described as “infectious sunny music” (Keys & Chords Magazine). The BraziLionaires serve up a unique blend of pop & jazz over Latin-infused grooves. Based in Nashville, the band originally formed in 2012 in Illinois, and developed a strong following with their electrifying stage show. Fronted by vocalist Dove Benoit and guitarist/songwriter Rico Wayne, the seven-piece group performs an exciting blend of original music, along with their own Latin versions of covers. The group released their first album “Algo Diferente” in 2016, following up with several singles in 2017 & 2018. Their music can be heard on all streaming radio platforms including Spotify, Pandora, Apple Music, & YouTube. The band is working on their second album “Proximo” to be released in 2020. Working with Chicago-based orchestrator Scott Hall, the group developed a program for orchestra entitled “A Latin Romance” and successfully debuted this show in 2018. “The BraziLionaires rhythms are thrilling and alluring, the grooves infectious and sophisticated” (Arts & Society).
